On this occasion, which coincides with the spirit of National Education Day and Labor Day, the Governor hopes that issues related to education and the workforce can be resolved properly.

"I think this event is important because it is a combination of education, labor, and also real problems that remain exist," said Pramono.

The Governor then highlighted Jakarta's standing on the international stage. He explained that Jakarta's position as a global city continues to improve, as evidenced by its global city ranking rising from 74th to 71st, its ranking as the second safest city in Southeast Asia, and its 17th-ranked transportation infrastructure in the world.

Furthermore, he added Jakarta's economic conditions continue to improve. However, the Gini ratio remains a challenge for the Jakarta Provincial Government to address.

Therefore, Pramono expressed his commitment to expanding access to education for Jakarta's children through various educational assistance policies such as KJP, KJMU, and diploma amnesty.

"As governor, I am truly committed to making improvements, especially for the less fortunate groups in society," he added.

This year, the Jakarta Provincial Government even made education free at 103 private schools. Furthermore, the program to send hundreds of vocational school graduates abroad is also a priority for the Jakarta Provincial Government.

"And I ask to continue programs like this because this will provide space for our vocational school students to compete at the world level, the global level," he continued.

Currently, the Governor is also designing an LPDP scholarship program managed by the Jakarta Provincial Government so that children from underprivileged families can pursue higher education abroad and improve their families' standard of living.

"I hope this can be realized soon. I think it's a great way to provide an opportunity for children and students in Jakarta to study abroad using LPDP Jakarta," he stated.
